Scrambler 400 4x4

1998 was the first year for concentric drive. 98 also brought shaft drive to the front. I just sold my 98 400 and bought a new 2000. I love mine, no problems. Just keep it greased/oiled and make sure you warm it up a bit before you get after it.

No concentric drive. If you keep 'er greased & oiled like you should, the weak link is the chain. If you do a lot of jumping, you might consider a spring-loaded chain tensioner. Takes some of the shock and chain slap out of the landings.

Scrambler 500 4x4 my advise to you is to stick with your scrambler 500 4x4.
The newer polaris' are more reliable anyways.
Polaris is not making a scrambler 400 4x4 for 2001 only the 2x4. Ya I know I'm not to thrilled with it either.
