Tire mounting?
#1
I was helping my friend take off his stock tires so he could put the new Razrs on and we had to cut the tires off becasue we couldnt break the seal cause there was glue holding it down. Tommarow were gonna take the tires to a tire dealer or suzuki place but should we ask them to glue the seal on like it was or does it not matter? Thanks

What you're probably seeing is the bead lube after it's dried. That stuff is almost as stubborn as Crazy Glue. I'm trying to dismount my stock Foreman tires and I'm having NO luck so far. I hope I don't have to resort to cutting them off.

I take my tires to my local walmart. They charge $5 to change an atv tire.A whole lot easier than beating the off the rims by hand.Yours could possibly had bead sealer on it,The person who owned it before you could have had problems with it leaking around the bead.I don't think that was why they came off hard though.ATV tires fit real tight on the bead.

well we got them off...my friends dad brought them to a tire place and they could barely get them off..they got one off and gave up so my friends dad did the rest...he said it was a b*tch and a lot of work..anywayz we went for a long ride yesterday and gave the tires a real good test and they held up great...

what i do is take a big sledg hammer and hit it on the rubber by the bead. you have to take the valve stem out first but the hammer thing works pretty good just do it away from cars and stuff becuase the hammer can bounce
