I just won a predator rear shock off ebay(fox podium) anyone ever try it on a scrambler 400. I have both style swingarms for the scram and i'm a good welder. but I would like to know if anyone tried and what was the outcome??

I also bought new fox front struts today for the scrammy anyone ever try them,I've had works struts on for years and they always sucked,anyone know how the fox struts compare to the works struts?

the frist steps in making my scrammy a great duner and drag quad have begun.
it's already fast, just needas to ride smoother

 

i guess i'll be the frist then????? I know i'll have to change the shock bushings or drillout the mounts on the frame to fit the shock bolts(predator uses a bigger bolt) i may even have to make a new mount on the swingarm.
I'll let you all know what happens,but i would love to know what all you guy/gals think.

Thewayout420 put one on his. I am unsure of his results.

 

i didnt put the podium shock from a predator on mine,the one i used was from a cannondale.im pretty sure the predator shock was longer than what i needed..i really didnt like the shock,it was WAY to stiff,i could have droped it off a 15ft cliff and i dont think the shock would have bottomed out.i have it on ebay and im running the stock fox shock again..
