kazuma 50 outwheeled my 250 recon
#1
My son and I went out riding last night by the river near our house. They river has been over its banks from t.s dennis rainfall and has just finally receided. I was leading through the mud(which is red georgia clay and nearly impossible to get off w/o a pressure washer) when I felt the rear tires let loose and sure enough I am burried to the frame.I turned around to tell my son to wait while I procede to hook up the come-along when I see him cruisin past me.So I'm thinking,ok smart a**,lets see how far you get and yep,he made it w/o any problems (just lite enough to ride on top of the mud which was just crusty enough on top) then, once he is safely across,I hear "dad, sure you don't want me to pull ya out?".Kids, gotta love 'em.

Had it for about 2 months,so far just minor problems(replaced headlight bulb due to water in headlight, not sealed well and stripped screw in carb float bowl)but for the price, cant beat it.Starts 1st time almost always and idles cold better than my honda. There is a few drawbacks,1st being no front brake which is alot of fun seeing him fishtailing down the large hills around here. The second being the lack of a chain guard which allows chain to p/u the ocassional large twig.Other than that kazuma seems like a decent first quad for kids. Not alot of dealers around to work on them yet so if ya get one,you had better be somewhat mechanically able.
