Default Banshee crank case problem

When the weather got hot I noticed my banshee's vent tube off the top of the crank case dripping oil, didn't think much of it so I routed it up higher then down, it still leaked? I just put some 35mm carbs on and now it seems to be worse? If you run it and shut it off, wait a minute, you can hear an air pressure sound come from the vent tube and blow out oil. Anyone know what could be wrong? Bad crank seal? Bad rings pressurizing the crank case? Let me know where to begin. thankx

neither of those are your problem. Just route the line straight up. There will be no pressure in the trans and a bad crank seal will leak oil into the cylinder causing it to run horrible (trans fluid in the cyl makes it foul plugs)

Beechman is right. The oil just gets hot and thinner and as the crankcase builds pressure from the heat, it pushes a little of the thrown oil out.

He said he can shut off the motor and hear air pressure leaking out the tube. Something is over pressurizing the crankcase. Broken compression ring probily.

thankx for the input guys. Hopefully it will make it till this winter when I will have time to tear it down and check it out. For now I'm gonna put a bigger hose over the one thats on there and route it straight up so it will at least not blow it out? thankx again rotty150
