Default Not Defecting BUT!

OK, well after hearing about the 800 Bomb I anxiously awaited I was just too turned off by the sticker price. I hear they will have a 660 Outlander but based I doubt they will be much more then about a thousand less then the 800 and the dealers around here don't budge on Bomb prices. I have been looking at Kawi Brute and Suzuki KQ but again they are pushing $7500.

I have ruled out Honda due to same MSRP issues, just seemed very expensive. Well a local Honda dealer was running the Rincon for $6299 plus tax......I did a lot of research and the only negatives I could find was they were said to be a little under powered and no low gear. For the type of riding I do low isn't really necessary and the power should be fine, I can ride a wheelie with it so how much more do I really need? Don't want so much power I can flip it over backwards.

So I picked up a black Rincon today, got an awsome deal and this will probably be my main riding quad.

I love my DS but a lot of areas where we ride it just isn't always the best quad, LOTS of fun but also at times a lot of work. This past weekend I got it out of second gear only a few times. The Outlander 330 is a fine machine but too underpowered for me, it has become the extra quad for people to ride when we go out with a few friends.

With my luck BRP will introduce the Outlander 660 next month for a $7,000 MSRP. Oh well, I am happy with my choice, it's the perfect color and has plenty of power and features.

The major factor for this purchase was that I thought it was too good of a deal to pass up for what I was looking for. I wanted another automatic, 650+ IRS, 4WD, and a comfortable ride.

Normally I wouldn't ask, cause I think guys should be happy with whatever they buy, but, Did you ever consider a Grizzly? I have one and Love it. I have owned everything except a Kawi and the grizz is by far the best I have ever owned. 660, lots and lots of power, most comfortable ride, auto, with low range and diff lock. Congrats on your purchase and ride safe.

Yeah, I thought about it. The Grizzly has a few features the Rincon doesn't like low gear and locking 4WD but for my type of riding it's really not necessary. Even a that I doubt I could have gotten a better deal on a Grizz then I got on the Rincon. It seems to me the Rincon had very, very few complaints on the searches I did on a few message boards. I'm not a mudder and don't plan on climbing Mt Everest anytime soon so I think I got a quad that suits my wants and needs for a price I can live with.

If you can ride wheelies with your Rincon, then it has at least double the power my 2003 Rincon had. So good for you finding the one Rincon that has enough power. I think the important thing is just what you said about finding a quad that suits your needs for a good price. Congrats, have fun with it.
