Yep I got one (see list below) Well worth the money if you ask me.

Just make sure you mount it securely. Mine fell off and into my lap while doing a hill climb. Lucky for me I caught it!

GPS

By the way I've seen them for as little as $20.00 on E-bay.....

I have a Garmin Etrex (the basic yellow one). It comes in real handy for finding your way around Glamis, and it is kind of cool to keep track of you speed, distance traveled, top speed etc. The screen is really small, so the map feature isn't very useful. I have a RAM mount, and hardwired a 12 volt cigarette lighter plug to my battery. This way, you can leave the backlight on at night and not worry about killing the batteries.

Garmin 60CS. . . . from REI

I keep it in the fanny pack water bottle spot wrapped in a towel with just the antenna out. Doesn't get exposed to as much vibration this way.

Bought the software after I got my REI member rebate. Pretty cool. Put in an address and it will take you to it!

This is a higher end unit that you may not need if you aren't looking for all the functions. I've bought the cheapest of some things before and just seem to end up buying again to upgrade so. . . decided to go with one of the best so I wouldn't have to upgrae in the future. Personal choice.

Cool thing about the unit is the breadcrumbs. . . . I pull up the unit on the computer and the breadcrumbs show where we were going around a bowl or up and down dunes. Kinda cool. Oh, the top speed is cool too.
