ive had it go both ways.. ive won, ive lost... they are pretty close. They are both pretty dang fast and fun to ride. This will be one of those topics that never end becasue there will always be someone who thinks they cant be beat, have most likely never raced and dont know what they are talking about and just say what they have (either the KFX or the rappy) is faster. But from experience I know that it goes both ways.

Since I have a Raptor and a V Force and a couple of my riding buddies have bone stock Raptors, I'll give you an honest answer.
In a 300ft race the V Force will win, it gets the holeshot but then the Raptor catches up, after 300ft
I've raced my riding buddy, same height, weight, age and riding experience with the same results after 30 or 40 races, we've switched numerous times with the same results, bottom line, while the Raptor's shifting, the V Force is just pulling away, this holds true for dirt, gravel and sand.
This is all based on my personal experience, I will race the V Force against the 700R, I have them both in my garage and I'm taking both of them to the Oregon dunes, I'll report the results of that race.

Hi,I just bought a 2006 KFX stock and I went out and bought a 2003 Raptor with a Yoshi pipe and KN filter kit. That wasnt jetted so it is lean ready to burn up.The is way Nasty fast almost to a point of needs tuning down.I have a Muzzy exaust Dalton clutch kit and a dail a jet with Kn filter coming for the KFX we wil see then what the old Raptor can do.I cant believe they are even in the same bracket right now though. The Raptor would beat it hands down.
