No BS where you at bring it over and line it up.I just put 32 ton of new dirt down for jumping and I am just getting both set up.You have any ideas on jetting the Raptor?I am telling you it is very fast and light. The KFX is brand new right out of the box.If I dont do something to the Raptor it will be blown up.The pipe got red hot just riding it for ten minutes when I got home last night.I am telling you it is fast,Light and nasty. The KFX is much easier to drive but I dont think it is in the same bracket.

Dude... 660 raptors are not that fast... why do you think Yamaha came out with the 700? Because the 660 was getting dominated. If you think its so bad, line it up with me shee and see what happens...

Hey what kind of way is that to talk.I just got my stuff in for my V-Force Dalton clutch kit and cover with the puller. You know I dont think if it went stock for stock your Kawi would have a chance with a Raptor. You had to add a lot of stuff to it didnt you?????I am not knocking them I just know I have both sitting right here in my garage and have rode both.Maybe after I have my pipe clutch kit and dial a jet and air box mods done I will change my mind.Anyone who says a Raptor is not fast is just talking out the wrond end.I like both my machines.

This will be one of those topics that never end becasue there will always be someone who thinks they cant be beat, have most likely never raced and dont know what they are talking about and just say what they have (either the KFX or the rappy) is faster. But from experience I know that it goes both ways.

What exactly was "dominating" the 660? A case can be made that the 660 is just as fast in stock trim as any of the big bores. The only thing that was clearly faster was the race-bred 450's, quads they usually don't go head to head with.

I would also like to comment I have a brand new 2006 KFX700 right here. The Raptor with the pipe and filter is way nasty.I am taking it apart tonight to make shure it is jetted right.I have a Muzzy pipe and K&N filter kit a Dalton clutch kit and cover plus a four stroke tec CDI box and Dial a jet kit to install on the KFX I will let you know how the KFX does after that but that is a lot of stuff added to make it beat a Raptor.I like my KFX a lot,but the Raptor is in a class by itself.

what is annoying about this post is jwadd saying how nasty a piped 660 is... if that is your idea of nasty you need help. thats all im trying to stress here, piped and a filter on a raptor 660 does not make them fast...

Hi,Dude
Maybe my new Raptor has more done to it than I know about.I just bought it on ebay from a guy that owned a motor cycle shop on long island. He took it in on trade.I know I am taking it apart to make shure it is jetted better.Right now the plug is white when you pull it and the pipe gets red hot glowing when you rip it around a few laps.I got the dial a jet kit and dalton clutch kit and over drive cover in the mail today along with the tpi valves and a unifilter for the KFX.I will let you guys know how the KFX fairs with the Raptor after this.I am telling you this 2003 660 Raptor piped and filtered will stomp my 2006 bone stock KFX 700.
