Default AC 650 jumps out of high range

Has anyone had any problems with their machine jumping out of gear? I shift from neutral to high range on my 650 and once the machine hits about 15 mph, it jumps back to neutral. I assume I need to adjust the linkage but is it field adjustable or better left for the garage at home?

Don't push the shift lever all the way forward, pull it back just a hair, you should be able to feel where it wants to be.

Put it in high gear, take the seat off and loosen the two torx screws on the shifter linkage and then wiggle the arm on the tranny a little to make sure it is centred in that gear and tighten it back up.That is your problem I'll bet,if it doesn't work, keep trying,it took me a few trys to get it right.Darn thing would jump out of gear all the time, usually when I was cranking on it too.

heyyou is correct.
It is just your linkage adjustment. A friend of mine had problems with his kicking out of low range. We were able to fix it on the trail & that was 700 miles ago.
