I will be buying one of these 4-wheelers here soon and I wanted to hear what you guys have to say about both of them.I've been particulary interested in the 02-04 Foreman but I wondered what everyone thought of the Rancher 4x4's?Their seems to be a lot of good deals on the Ranchers.How much of a difference is their in them?I know that the Foreman you can lock in and out of four wheel drive unlike the Rancher and it's bigger.Do these things make a big difference?Keep in mind this will be my first 4x4 so I don't have a whole lot of knowledge on them.

i have been on both to know the likes and dislikes. I would personally pick the foreman. It has a bigger moter and overall size. the racher is smaller and could be more nimble and stuff but i would go with the foreman.

 

If you are looking at a Foreman, you should also look at the Rubicon. If the Rubicon is out of your price range than I would go with the Foreman.

Do they make a Rubicon in standard shift?Standard shift is a must have for me and I thought the Rubicon was ES or something.If not i'll definatly look into it.What is the difference in the Rubicon and the Foreman?

Rubi is an auto but you can also shift it with electronic shift......... The rubicon have like 20some more CC or the foreman 500, for 500 is 478cc i beleive and the rubi is 499cc................. Other than that i think there basically the same they have pretty much the exact same specs.... but like a grand different in price.
