Any Comments on a K&N Power Kit for my Trail Boss 325
#1
I was looking through the Dennis Kirk catalog the other day, and noticed that the make a power kit for the Trail Boss 325. It consists of a jet kit, K&N filter charger, K&N precharger, service kit, and instructions. It sells for $119.99. It's on Pg. 171. Is working on the Carb a hard thing to do? My dad is an auto mechanic, so he has knowledge about this sort of thing. Would this be a good choice for getting a few etra horses for such a small engine? It seems like the price is pretty good, and I don't want to spend money on a pipe when this could be a deal. I was also thinking of putting a white spring on the primary clutch. Do you think both of theses things would have an effect on the other? I appriciate any help you guys could give me. Thanks!

I know nothing about the power kit. The green spring may be a little severe, especially on a 4 cycle engine. Don't discount the white spring. Seems that in other posts I read most people liked it better. The green spring is for open spaces or max takeoff. White helps some while retaining control on takeoff. Look around for posts detailing spring changes on the 325s.
