I have an 05 Honda Rubicon. It now has 105 miles on it so I am attempting to change the oil. I am having one problem though. I have removed the skid plate, drained all the oil, and removed the oil filter cover bolt. However I can not get the oil filter cover to come loose. Can someone please help me? If you know of anything I need to do to get it loose, or any tips, I would really appreciate it.

I've had the same problem but you can just work it loose with a little force.

 

A little force? How exactly did you accomplish that. Is it best to try an twist it, or pry?

 

I have the same problem. I usually take my leatherman knife and gently pry it off. They should have made it come off with the bolt.
