i need help in changeing a drive chain on my atc

is there anyone that can help he out? i wanted to know how to change a chain on my atc. the chain broke off. i don't know what to open ane how it goes on .

OK I'll give it a shot. I believe that model has the chain cover, usually just a few bolts holding that on. Once off you can see the chain and sprockets, just like on a motorcycle. The chain should also have a master link. Remove and replace. Some required a special sealed chain. I recall that on my old Suzuki ALT-185.

i got that far but instead of bolts it has 3 screws, i cant get one out it has been striped. any ideas?
also when i opened a back plate it had a plastic spacer and i did not see where it felll from?
any other help with these q's will be helpful thanks for that tips

If you can take a hack saw and cut a slot in the screw making a slot for a screwdriver to get a bite. Otherwise grind off the head and remove the stud later. The spacer is probably there to keep from pinching the guard together to tight.
I would suggest an owners manual/service manual. Or go to someplace like bikebandit.com or servicehonda.com and look at the exploded part views. This will give you a good idea of how things go together.

Oaklanderkid............What ATC are you working on???? On the screws, you can use Valve grinding compound on the tip of the screwdriver; lightly tap the screwdriver into the crew with a hammer, and 90% of the time it will break loose. You can get the valve grinding compound for $1 at a parts store.
