Default Honda releases TRX450ER6

Link to Honda site This is the electric start version (363 lbs). There is a separate version for kickstart (357 lbs).

I know you Yamaha guys will turn up your noses without a second thought, but you have to admit, they've made some worthwhile adjustments, especially powerwise.

lol, Yamaha still figured out how to make an electric start YFZ that is still whats that, LESS than the kick start honda?? hmm how interesting

The 450r got a lot of improvements but it still looks stupid. Im sure it wont effect yfz sales.

13 lbs is really gonna make a difference................Maybe Yamaha saved the weight on their customer service

that high of compression and i was thinking the same thing..my friends got a wiseco 440 piston in his EX with 12.5-1 compression and he has to run a mix of 110 race gas with 91 octane pump gas.

93 octane will be fine for that compression.anything 13.1 and higher then run race gas

Honda finally made the machine they were too chicken $hit to release back in 04. Maybe if they weren't so concerned with making the bike engine and carb setup "safe" for atv use they wouldn't be the #2 race bike.

Different engines can handle different compressions on the same gasoline. The yfz is 11.9:1 and runs 91 octane premium while a 12:1 raptor needs 96-100 octane.
