2005 Kodiak tires and rims.... HELP!
#1
I have a 2005 Kodiak and want to buy after market rims/tires. I was all set to purchase an XTR Mudlite kite with 26" tires, 12" rims, and t7 rims but I spoke to Ron at ITP and he informed me that the tires and rims would make the machine 5" wider then the stock set. The machines are tough enought to get aroud trees and rocks without bashing the new rims amd tires. Does anyone have a 450 with after market tires and rims to share your pics?? Also, anyone have any advice??
tks,

Here you go. Check out the last couple of my Pictures. I suggest you get the yamaha Overfenders also cause your going to need them . It makes all the differance the world between getting covered in mud or coming back half way clean.

Hey, your machiine looks awsome with those type 6 rims... How far out do the tires stick out? I just bought a set of XTR Mudlite tires with type 7 rims for my 04 sportsman 700 and should receive thtem this week, can't wait...

They stick out just far enough to cover you from head to toe with mud if you dont install the overfenders. It's a lot more stable now. Be sure and post us a picture when you get it all together.
