i just watched a video on the honda rincon and it said it has improved engine braking. Has anyone else watched this video and i wonder how much its improved?

 

Years ago,when Honda introduced the new front TORQUE SENSING Differential,it to,was suppose to be IMPROVED..It really was nothing more than another fancy word from Honda for 3wd to sway customers over in their direction for sales..

I hope your right that the engine braking is improved dramactically,because on this model,its BADLY needed.

What Honda built in the Rincon is a CRUISER COUCH, aimed at giving the aging baby boomer market a comfy ride! It was never intended to be a mudder or a technical trail machine (but Honda's "false advertising" shows it on a nasty mountain trail!), so BUYER BEWARE if a serious off-road machine is what your require.

 

reconranger, IMO, the mountain trail I've seen the Rincon on doesn't look too radical, and I've never seen the advertisement trying to sell it as a utility, mudder, or something that could climb Everest. I'm sure most riders could get up the hill I saw the Rincon climbing with a 2wd ATV.

If you've got a membership to HRC you can see the 06 announcement banner on the right of the page after you signed in, but don't expect to hear anything about improved engine braking, either they didn't address it or it isn't advertised.
