I used the Highlifter 1" spacers on my 800. Only got about 3/4" more clearance from the tie rod but there's more than enough room now. Must be from tire deforming under the weight of the machine.

Why do you want spacers? Need clearance for the ITP's? had spacers on the 400. after I put the S. swampers on, one side was rubbing my tierod. I would not recommend spacers. they put extra strain on bearing etc.. thing i did not like the most was the front tire were out past the fenders and would throw water/ mud right in your face and they made it ride like a hay wagon. I had 1" on the front only check your toe in/ out on your ITP's if you do get the spacers you will need to adjust this I did away with the spacers by getting some after market wheels( cant remember what brand) with more off set, adjusted the toe in/out and got clearance on the tierod. Just my experience with spacers....Sure others have had better......
Anybody want to buy some 1" spacers for front wheels, 2000 explorer 400? I wouldnt make a good salesman!

Ordered 1.5" spacers for the rear only at this time. Plan to put 1" spacers on the front when I order new tires.
As for the tires slinging mud, I have the BODYGUARD side fender guards which will act as fenders and keep much of the mud off. The tires even with the 1.5" spacers will not extend beyond the BODYGUARD fender protectors.
Decided to go with spacers to decrease the chance of a roll-over while traversing angled side-hill travel.
I don't buy the "spacers damage your bearings." story at all. I've used wheel spacers for a long time on many vehicles and have NEVER had bearing issues. My new 07' Jeep JK Rubicon had 1.5" spacers before it even had 200 miles on it. As long as you go with quality spacers and high-grade hardware, wheel spacers are completely safe to use. The strain on bearings with spacers is identical to different rims with a smaller back-spacing (larger offset).
Will update once I get them installed next week.
