My friends dad just bought a 2001 polaris Sportsman 500 h.o and we went for a ride together(i ride a 2000 sp 500) the power is unbeilavble, this thing totaly rips. In a drag race roughly 100 yards he beat me by 8-10 quads lengths.It also feels a lot more powerful and faster than the 2000 grizzly i used to have!!! So i guess i'll be taking a for sale sign and slappin' it on my sportsman!!

 

I was wondering how bad a H.O would kick my butt when I run into one.Thanks for the bad news.

 

i also have a partner that just got him an HO and he hasnt broken it in yet so we havent went trail riddin yet,its going to be fun,im looking into selling my 99 to get one to but i might have to try some clutch mods and carb and cam so i can surprize him when we do run.
