sportsman safety switches

sportsman safety switches
I picked up a '94 sportsman in need of work - There are two switches located atop the transmission - Which one is the neutral safety switch ? (this thing wants to start in gear - luckily I've got the carb off and soaking)
Is the other the reverse light?
