400ex changes, and what to look out for in a used 2003, Advice needed.
#1
There is a 2003 400 ex available locally for $3,600 out the door. It's stock and I think it's worth considering.
As you can see in my signature file I had a 2000 400ex. That one was flawless and reliable.
Questions:
1. Is there anything different on the 2003 that was updated over the 2000,2001, 2002?
2. Is there anything specific I should look for mechanically that may be a problem?

The airbox is reinforced with some extra brackets.
The welding on the a-arms where the shocks mount is much better since 2001.
Can't think of anything else that changed.
