Default Trading in 04 Foreman S

Was thinking of trading in my 04 Foreman S for maybe a new (05) Rancher AT. The Foreman only has around 200 Miles and more than 3 years left on a Honda warrenty. I have no idea what to expect for a dealer trade in...any ideas? Any ideas what I could ask for it selling outright?

Thanks

Mike

It's my wifes 4 wheeler, she's having a hard time staying in the right gears all the time, also, reverse is a pain. I also think it might be a little too big for her. We also have a Rubicon and we really like the Hondamatic tranny.

These are two totally different machines.

The Foreman 450 is a workhorse, period. Lots of low end torque. Harsh suspension that is perfect for carrying heavy loads, not so perfect for trail riding. Ridiculously simple layout that is pretty much bulletproof.

The Rancher AT is a trail bike. Great transmission for trail riding, not so much for working because of the lack of low end torque. Average suspension, but still much better than the Foreman. More of a pleasure to ride in comparison to the Foreman. Very reliable, but not as reliable as the Foreman since it is more complex.

Both great machines...

ATVtech...my thoughts exactly. I already have my workhorse ATV (04 Rubicon), just thought since all the other ATV does is trail ride, that the AT would be a better fit than the Foreman S.

Goto Kelley Blue book website. Click on motorcycle prices and atvs will come up also. It's tell you what to expect on a trade-in
