I have a 300, and the front seals on both sides of the differential need to be changed. I'm not doing it myself, but what I am wondering is how exactly do you do it, and roughly how long would you say it should take..just wondering so I may have a rough idea of the cost. Its the two seals on either side of the differential, do they have to tear it all out or just take the two boots off on the diff or all the boots or what exactly is involved...approx time?

 

Anybody know?

 

A good mechanic should be able to pop out the olds and pop in the new. Just have to remove everything that's on the axle to allow access. Not sure exactly how to on your machine but in theory they're all the same.

Couple hours, probably less without several beer breaks.
