A buddy of mine has a 94 Honda 300 fourtrax 4x4. While riding today is started jumping out of gear. Often when he would go to change gears or would quit pulling almost as if it was not even in gear. Can any of you tell me what might be wrong with it.

 

mine used to pop out of gear every once in a while but i adjusted the play in the clutch and it stopped
