05' rancher at, hard to start!
#1
my 05 rancher is hard to start if it has not been started in a couple of days, most of the time i have to use the choke, i had a honda before and the only time i had to use the choke is when it was really cold outside. has anybody else with a rancher had this problem?

Yes, the Rancher can be hard to start and choke is usually required, especially if the bike hasn't been started in a couple of days. This is normal for a Rancher and there should be nothing at all to worry about.

yea, even if your bike doesn't need choke i still like using it, it warms up faster, but no need to worry just start it with choke go inside take a p1ss come back out shut the choke off and your ready to go

the new machines are "lean burn" and they can be cold blooded, my '05 350 can be a hassle sometimes, my '04 350 was the same way. I would just follow the procedure for starting in the owners manual, if it starts, then it's fine. If you still have problems, see what the dealer says.
