trans is sticking every now and then have to trun engine off then pull up hard on shifter to unstick then will do fine for awhile. any suggestions?

 

If your engine is idleing to high it will be hard to shift...Might need clutch adjusted...I had an 04 400 manual shift arctic-cat and at 700 miles I had to replace the clutch (warranty covered it) When I sold it there was 2400miles and no problem's with the clutch...Does your quad still have any warranty left...When mine was in the shop getting fixed there was another 04 400 a-cat haveing clutch replaced so there must of been a few bad one's....

 

I had same issue with my 05 400 4x4 man. The idle was to high....adjust and you will be fine. Not sure how to? take to dealer and they will do it in less them 5 minutes time.

 

Could also need a clutch adjustment if the lowering the idle doesn't cure it..
