A local guy tried dually rear paddle tires for the drags, had them off the next week.

Most of the time bigger is better than just more, like 29.5" outlaws.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

like a tractor has duals.......but they also have the power to turn them.......

Not so much the power, as the torque. And not so much the engine's torque output, but the gearing used to multiply it.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

So, you don't think it would be cool for snow and going across frozen ponds,plowing, and mainly for winter riding. I don't think it would be worth a crud on trails, mud, etc.

Unless you're trying to float ontop of deep drifts I really dont think it'd be a good thing. When in the snow and ice you want to reduce the size of the tire contact to transfer more weight in order to make more traction. If you want to spread weight out I think tracks are a much better choice. But if these are significantly cheaper, even after the cost of a new set of tires and maybe two, then yes I think it'd be a good use during the winter for questionable ice or deep snow.
