Hey I was wondering what engines, honda or otherwise, will bolt in, or with little modifications fit in my 200x frame? Will a 250r motor or a 350x, what about a 250 odyssey motor, or a trx motor? Thanks for any help, 185forever!

 

You can make any engine fit in any frame with enough $$$ and time. I would just find a 200X engine, it would be your easiest, most reliable and cheapest option.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

For some reason I have seen a couple people put 200M or S engines in(can't remember which)

 

I think putting a 250x or 300ex motor would be cool. It would be easier to mod and could be made into a cool sleeper.

 

the 250x is chain driven? what kind of atv do I get it out of, like, obviously honda, but what year quad ? will it be a direct bolt in, or some mods needed?

The 250x was made in 1987-1988 and again in 1991-1992 then it was turned into the 300ex. But I think you should be pretty close to being a bolt in. Some mod will proibly be needed to get it to fit right.
