Anyone going to dunes this weekend? I'm planning on going Thurs. night or Fri. AM until Sunday. My first trip this season. I've heard from a couple guys that the dunes are really soft for some reason - - stories about getting stuck in the bowls. Weird, huh?

 

I was in Buttercup, and Gordons Well this last weekend. The sand was great, but was beat to heck by Sunday.

Hey there,
I was out at Glamis last weekend : - ) (insanity) and the place was pretty tore up execpt around the back side toward China Well. There were still lots of Great un-touched smaller dunes to have plenty of fun on.
All the common paths to the big popular spots were like slopy seconds though.... nothing a 60mph wind could not fix....
Its all good though that's why I ride the DS as my suspension soaks up a lot of the humps and bumps.....while the banchee guys get the sh|t beat out of them.
