Default Help Pls. Removing rear axle....

I am in the process of swapping out my stock blaster axle for a Banshee axle to gain a little more width. I have the carrier off with the axle and the sprocket still on. I looked in my service manula and it says to take off the sprocket first, then the axle will slide out to the right (break side). I can't for the life of me, break that d@mn sprocket loose. I had been hitting it with a hammer and juicing her down w/WD40 for the last hour and a half. I don't see anything else I should be removing....Any ideas....?

Thanks

is it held on with a C clip....that's how my Mojave's was held on, push the sprocket as far as it will go to the right...then get a screw driver and see if there is a clip retaining it on there...hope that helps

Thanks for your response...There may have been, but after an hour of pounding I took out the torch....Now I am in the need of not only the sprocket and hub, but also the carrier I saved the disc. 1 out of 3 ain't bad.....

Default Help Pls. Removing rear axle....

Okay. The sprocket and hub will be here tomorrow and the carrier will be here on friday. I am reading here and there that the stock banshee axle won't fit with the disc hub. The blaster is thinner. Is this true, and if so what can I use to get rid of the gap?
Thanks again...
