Default I kinda feel bad

A friend of mine bought a brand new grizz camo and we went riding the next day. He was talkin all kinds of smak the entire week and when we went riding man I spanked him. I have a 03? prairie 650. After the first time I beat him I let him win because I felt bad and just because he just spent $7000 on a brand new quad. I was kinda disappointed in the grizz.

That is the outcome I would have expected Of course, he will likely spank you in the mud bogs. Just have to pick your battles is all.

Yeah, the people that think displacement is the only factor in power crack me up. I had a friend that was like this and just couldn't grasp the concept of a V-Twin making better power than a single, even if it was a tad bit smaller.

Sounds like a tough way to break a new machine in.

If your friends only concern was speed he just wasted 7 grand. It could have purchased a P700 that would spank your little 650. Hopefully he bought a Grizz because he likes the ride, reliability, smooth engine breaking, IRS, and good but certainly not the fastest quad built.

he grizz is a heck of a machine rode it and loved it. but my buddy bought a new grizz and i bought a new 650 arctic cat a couple years ago and mine had wayyyy more snap then his and i got water wheelie pics to prove it where i can sit on mine even when i am not in water and snap a wheelie backwards and he has to jump on the back to get the front end to come up in water. then after that i put in a clutch kit and an aftermarket cdi then it was no comparrison. a v-twin is the best motor on the market. but like i said the grizz is a hell of a machine. i just need a scanner to put them pics on the net cause they are truely sweet. oh and i had 27 inch tires and he had 26 we both had oversided.

If he has 26" tires on the Griz with no clutch kit he's losing a lot of snap on the start. If he puts a clutch kit in I'm sure it would be a little closer. Or put the stock tires on and see how it runs.
