Default Warn or Amsteel plow lift rope?

Need to replaced wire cable in my Warn winch for lifting plow blade. The wire cable is too stiff & gets hung in my fairlead in order to lift plow to max height. Does anybody here use one? I can't find a pic online showing the end of the Warn 8' section. If you have one, does it have a rope thimble like the Amsteel?

I can get an 8' section of the Amsteel on ebay for a fair price.

Thx,
HS

Default Warn or Amsteel plow lift rope?

hey HS i got my plow mount today, but my king is getting new tie rods (recall) it will be done in the morning. i will see if i have the same problem. if i do i am going to try what someone on here did with a nylon strap. look at WINCH CABLE VS WINCH ROPE i started on the forum for details on what can be done. it sounds like a good idea and is easy to do. take it easy.
