i was riding yeasterday and i stoped and started going again and when i shifted into second gear the left rear wheel fell off due to a brken axle. i was wondering if this happened to any1 and ifso what did they do about it.

Used to break them all the time. But I ride harder than most.

 

i ride very hard and it only has 500 miles on it so its weird that it would happen

 

I used to average about one axle a month. If you want to solve the problem put the axle out of an 02 or newer magnum. This is not a cheap swap but you will not break that axle. I tried and tried but never broke one. Even bought a spare when I did the swap. Still have it sitting on a shelf.

 

is there any way i could take it off your hands? and when u said not cheap how much are you talking about because im just keeping it untill spring then i gettin ride of it along with my snowmobile to get a better snowmobile

 

Yes I will sell the axle. If I remember right it cost around $600 for evevrything. Gotta buy an axle, axle tube, brake caliper, rotor, wheel hubs, bearing and new wheels. Not exactly cheap if you do not plan on keeping the bike for awhile. If you are still interested I would sell the axle for $50.

i looked at your pics and couldn't help but notice that you wrote that someone stole your wheels and DOG!

is this correct? how does someone steal a dog?

oh! that's great you didn't lose your dog. when i read "800 EFI 2" lift, 27" Outlaws, ITP wheels, stolen 3-16-05, and the dog Boo" i thought otherwise. my bad.
