Default problem with 450 ES MAybe carburetor

We got a 2000 foreman es 450 a few days ago. It has only 100 miles on it. However it had gas from the year 2000 in it also and it gummed up the carburetor. We got that fixed and I rode it for a few days. Now we are having problems with it not wanting to idle or start and it is acting like it is not getting any gas. It might rarely start but it dies soon after. Could it be a dirty gas line? Maybe still have carburetor trouble? What could cause it to not receive gas? I reallly need help so I don't have to take it to the Honda shop.

Hmm, are you sure the idle speed is set right? If the idle speed screw is too low it wont start too good. Otherwise, I would check out the fuel line for clogs and stuff like that.

Did you disassemble the carb to clean it??? If not you really should. Also, you should take off the tank and give it a good cleaning, there will be just as much gum in the bottom of the tank, which has now flown back into the carb making it dirty again.

You may also have the valve for the fuel switch plugged up with that dirty stuff too.
