I just bought a 2001 banshee (black & white). I was wondering if anyone had tryed to put a FMF POWER CORE II SILENCER on the stock pipe. Does it fit or there are some mods to do. Did you rejet your carb. Did it make a difference(power & sound). If there anyone tried this before I would really liked to know your stories. Reg from Ontario Canada

Yes they will. I ride with someone who has done this. However, you don't get near the gain you would if you were to add pipes and silencers together. Without the pipes you'll save some weight and it sounds better. But you'll have to rejet anyway since the FMF silencers will flow a little more than the stock ones. Just wait and save your money and buy everything together. That way you won't need to mess with the jets more than you have to.
