Its the combination of full time 4wd (no 2wd option), and the back axle is solid. Theres no other differential other than the front one. No center or rear differential. The right rear tire is locked to the left rear tire, and which ever front tire has the best traction is binding with them. This is where the polaris guys get the 3wd from...3 and only 3 tires are bound together. It will switch from one side of the front to the other, but one is always linked with the back.Turning makes for alot of resistance, because of all the binding .
If it had a center differential or a 2wd switch, it would roll a bit better, but none of the 4x4 utes will roll very well.
If you point it straight ahead, it shouldnt roll too bad, but if it still does...check tire pressure, and for dragging brakes. If the tire pressure is too low, it does increase the effort.
