I was reading another thread which raised a question.

I dropped the oil and changed the filter on my 05 500ho

I left the oil plug out til the next day while looking for oil

The next day I filled the oil and ran the engine to check for leaks

My question, is since I had the plug out overnight, should (do) I have to prime the oil pump?

i would yes... pinch the hose off and let suction occur and then release and it should be primed
