While riding this weeekend I started noticing a strong smell of gas coming from my ds. I was not able to find any leaks. The carb area is dry. All the fuel lines appear to be dry also. I have not had a chance to take a closer look yet. The bike performed fine all weekend , no performance issues just a very strong smell. Also it does not matter if the tank is full or half full. Any ideas where to start looking would be appreciated.

 

were you riding wheelies by chance? Gas comes out the overflow of carb while upright.

 

Yes i was every once in a while. Thanks for the info. I will ride it to see if that was it.
