Default Fuse problems for 400 2004

My neighbor has this brand new articat and he had it so far for about 1 year goin on 2 and it has never had a problem. Besides the back brakes never have worked. Those broke after a week. But thats not my problem.

My problem is i was going about 20 mph on a trail and went to open feild and i ran into a puddle and the water hit the wheeler at the right angle and just fried the fuse for the ignition. It automatically shut it off and it took me an hour to trouble shoot it. But since that everytime the owner goes through a puddle the fuse blows. I don't know what could be the problem its kinda ironic. Since i kinda helped break that. I think there could be an exposed wire somewhere and i would like to know if that could be it.

Thanks ,
Mike

There is a relay just above the starter solenoid, check the wires going to this relay. I worked on one last week, two of the wires were bare, had been rubbing on the frame.
