are all the 400ex's the same through 1999-2005? thanks

The 04 got a new carb and a smaller counter shaft sprocket. The 05 got reverse and new plastic.

2003 and up got a few extra brackets on the airbox.

well i was just wondering because i bought nerfbars for my 99 and they were off an 05. so i didnt know if they fit. thanks

The frames are the same, so I see no reason for nerfs to swap.
