Replacing Stock Grizzly Tires, any sugestions
#3
Hoo, I believe I asked if I should get rid of the stock tires, not sure if I got any sugestions on what size or what tire to get. I also want to make sure they are radials.
I couldnt find the old post so asked again

my bad then,,,it has been atleast a month,i cant really remember either
i use the Kenda Bear Claws for an everyday tire,,,,and i use the Mudzilla's for the deep mud holes
the Bear Claws seem to be wearing pretty well (i even ride on a tar 'n' chip surface alot),,,,havnt had them in the snow yet,but they did get me stuck in a deep hole,,,,,but my bike with the zilla's is the only bike that has made it through that hole to date in their defense
the zilla's are awsome in the mud,but worthless for anything else

Do I go with 26" tires instead of 25"?
Never really thought about having a second set on rims, but probably a pretty good idea maybe I will keep the stock tires for the tar and chip, and basic trail riding and get some good radials for more agressive riding and in the snow.

i went with 27's,but ended up needing a clutch kit
26's would probably better for you,get a lil more ground clearance, and you wont need a clutch kit
also it is nice having 2 sets mounted,i can have one set off,and the other set mounted in less than 15 minutes, including putting the other set away,,,done,,,and back on the trail

Get 25" Mud Lite XL's. You get the deep lugs of the larger size tires, but you can stick with stock size so there is no power loss. I love mine. Price is good too. I got mine for $238 OTD
