I am really similar in wieght and height and i would probably go with the yfz just because it seems to be getting the better reviews....it also is a little better handling where the 450r is more of just a racer......I dont know if you have thought about this but neither have reverses which can be a pain in the butt so you might want to cosider moving to either the raptor 700 same price as the yfz of the 400ex with reverse...just somehting to think about also suzuki has the z400 that is moving up the charts....hope that helps

Unless you have experience on bikes, you're gonna hurt yourself on a 450.

Yeah, what are your riding credentials. If you have little or no experiance, then an all out high performance atv is the wrong thing to get.

Just like a first car. You can't think you can put Junior into a Ferrari and not expect him to screw things up if he has no experiance driving. You always begin with somthing basic.

Get a predator they are fast and easy to handle. remember to stay away from the xplorer 400 it will throw you off the back easily.

Cool. I love Honda but if I was racing, I'd want the yfz.

You race MX and you don't have your own ride?
