Default smaller front sprocket

I was thinking of droping the sprocket gearing in my kfx400 from 14 teeth to 13 teeth. Anybody ever done this before? If so, how much more bottom end did you get?

Default smaller front sprocket

if you are riding tight slower technical trails,,,,go down a tooth (or if you are going with taller tires)

if you are running 4th and fifth gear WOT all the time,,,,,,don't
