Need help from anybody or everybody. I'm doing this swap and would like some feedback, advice or even pictures of similar projects to get some ideas for the install. I've read alot of threads throughout the years and there is a wealth of knowledge here. Pleeeease help?

Thanks for the feed back. I know a few of the members have done busa conversions. Maybe they can shed some light and provide some feedback / pictures. That would be a big help. I will post pictures of the project as it progresses. Note: This is a street legal DS already registered in the state of Florida. I will not be drag racing anybody in the dunes just in case competition is to blame for the lack of feedback.

 

Well I dont know about the R1, but the RX1 and Apex 1000cc motors for their sleds would be very good for a custom drag quad application. With mods, they are pumping out 250hp+! If I had unlimited funds, I would find an APEX motor from a sled junkyard and build a custom frame around her and stick some DS Plastic on her. I've done some wrenching on those motors and they are the one. Those things will run all day at 10,000 RPM with a turbo boost of 16lbs. Oh, and the APEX is fuel injected!
