Default tie rod recall on the b.f 750

just got the recall notice on my b.f 750 tie rod's. they only let me down 3 times now, none of wich were covered under warranty, i was told i was the only one having problems and i was abusing the machine, and kawasaki Canada would not give me a dime, what a great warranty, i wonder if Isaac at customer service at kawi Canada is goin to reimburse me now?
Well at least there fixing them before some one got seriously hurt!
Now the waiting starts, hopefully i can get them changed before spring.

Got my notice today. It says "limited quantities" of repair kits will "begin" arriving at dealerships in January and I have to wait to receive another notice before I can contact my dealer to schedule the repair. Sounds like it could be a while before I hit the trails again as well.

I broke one of mine while decending down the side of a mountain of coal. Replaced it with a tie rod off a 400EX weighs 2x as much and cost 3x more then the stock BFs tie rod end. Kawi wont give me a dime on that one either. Rick from Kawi customer service is not doing them any good at all! He should be terminated!!

I bent and broke my tie rods/ends and replaced them with american racing rods and ends and have had no problems since. I also got my recall notice and take to the sevice rep at my local dealership and they are willing to give me the new ones as long as I give them the old ones. At least I will have an extra set just in case.
