I just got back from my local Honda dealer and I have a printout of the offical Rancher recall notice. Since I dont have a scanner so I am typing this. By the way this is a print out from a program called HONDANET FOR WINDOWS. I was told they would have the kit to fix them in a week or so.

Gee whiz it sure sounds wierd that mine is over 10 months old and the brand new ones are on the same recall. Honda must have just recently had a rash of a-arms breaking. :<(

I dont think it is. There should be a sticker that specifially says VIN. It is also on your title or any paperwork that was signed at the dealer. I still havent gotten home from work to check mine.

Well I came home and mine is in the recall list. Bummer. I have had wierd responses from dealers. 5 out of 6 of the dealers within 100 miles knew nothing about it. The one I was in today I talked to a service manager and he knew about it. There is also supposed to be a recall on the Rubicon but no one here knows about it. If your dealer knows nothing about it I can probably get this copy faxed to you or mail it to you.
