300ex feels allot lower geared than the 400ex

I just got new 300ex and it is allot lower geared than my 400. What is the stock gearing and will a 400 sproket fit the 300 as well.

400EX- 15/38
300EX- 13/38

You can add a larger front sprocket too the 300, but you have too remove the case-saver. Not always a good idea.
A better option maybe too drop a few teeth on the rear sprocket.
