im geting a new atv and im either wanting a suzuki vinson or the bombardier outlander 400.which one has more power.another question is which one would be better in the snow,mud and sand. THANKS

 

To andswer ur question, the Vinson is a 500, the bomb. is a 400, so obviously the vinson would have more power.

 

MMM not really. I bet the outlander can stay right with or even beat the vinson. It has great power for a 400, dont underestimate it.

 

I agree with BRP33 the Outy has a "High Output" 400 and can hold its own
against most 500's. My brother has an Arctic Cat 500 which uses the Suzuki 500
motor and my Bomb can run even with him.
Ride both of them and see what you like better, consider warranty, accessories available, mods, ect.

Having ridden the outlander 400max, i can tell you that the vinson is much mor powerful. The 5 speed vinson will keep up with many of the big bores.

Most every review I've read says that the Outlander 400 holds it's own against other brands 500, probably not more powerful but once a few mod's are available it probalby would be. It has 4 valves as opposed to two valves, similar to a 4 cylinder with a twin cam vs single cam.
