Kazuma Mini Falcon 90 after assembly preparation break in help
#1
Hello All
Just finished putting togther Kazuma Mini Falcon 90
The owners manual says to drain factory oil and replace, I did that.
It also says to replace gactory shipped differential oil with 90w.
where do you drain and fill the diff on the Mni Falcon 90? There are two drain plugs under the motor. I used the larger drain plug on the right hand side to drain the oil.
Looking in the manual its says to use the smaller drain plug on the left hand side to drain oil .
When I removed the larger plug the one under the dip stick the 17 mm bolt the motor oil drained out.I am a little confused and the manual is pretty basic. I know from my dirt bike days that the chain needs lubrucation should I just apply chain lube before each ride?
For the life of me I cant get the choke to operate correctly The mini 90 will not stay ideling when cold and I have to restart it many times to warm it up
Any other breakin prep info would be great .The dealer was suposed to perfrom the prep but he basically said "Its Christmas take it in the box or I'll sell it to the next guy " LOL
Thanks In Advance

I can't help with the differential fluid...
but in regards to warming up, if it's like my 50 then it's way too lean. Mine came with the mixture screw about 2.5 turns out and right now I have it at about 3/4 of a turn out and it runs great.

htxpert,
The 90 has no diff oil. The only ones that have diff oil is the ones with shaft frive. All you need to do is change the oil and thats it. The smaller plug on the bottom is the chain tensioner. DO NOT pull this one. Yes the choke is difficult on these. What you need to do is adjust the needle clip on the carb for the colder weather. You need to lower the clip to make it richer. Then adjust your idle and air/fuel screw. The notches for the choke are not accurate. Most of the time the choke has to be inbetween these notches for them to run but once you adjust the carb it will run alot better.
