Default Anyone use Verizon DSL?

Not sure how far Verizon serves, but does anyone use Verizon DSL Internet Service Provider? If so, how do you like it? Curious about the DSL speed and such wondering if it is worth getting.....

My neighbor has verizon dsl and loves it but he used to have dialup so anything would be an 100% improvement. I used to have SBC dsl and it was fine but I had a chance to get cable and bundle on my phone, tv and high speed internet together for a discount. When I had dsl the speed was aprox 350--400 which is a big improvement over the dial up at aprox 40--50.

Another thing with dsl and I might be saying this incorrect but the closer you are to the main hub the better you speeds will so if you are pretty far away you might not get the speed they advertise. DSl just uses your phone line and those wires are quite small to carry data.

20 miles fro mthe hub and i don't even think they will service past there.. the hub for me is 3 blocks away... so i mean it's not like i have any connection problems.

but yea.. if you are comin from dial up( about 3-5kbps ) and get basic dsl you can d/l at probably about 160kbps

I however have the fastest dsl speed available through verizon and the most i have gotten was 2000kbps which slowly went down to 800kbps

the cap for it is 375kbps tho
